RadioRead
Sensus RadioRead ® features the most robust, high-powered radio frequency transmitter available for use with walk-by or drive-by automatic meter reading systems.
RadioRead offers a choice of meter reading options. A handheld unit can be used for reading RadioRead equipped meters, TouchRead System meters, or manually entering visual readings by meter readers on foot. A more powerful vehicle transceiver has greater range and can be used in any car or truck at any time to read meters as the vehicle drives past RadioRead equipped meters.
TouchRead
This versatile meter reading system reads inside meter sets and meters in underground pits or vaults. Proven at hundreds of utilities since 1984, this meter reading system eliminates meter reading problems and errors while speeding the on-site reading process. In less than two seconds, each meter reading is electronically transferred to a Sensus AutoRead ® HandHeld Device (AR-HHD) through a wireless reading gun or probe. The reading data is later off-loaded to a PC at the utility office where it can be used to generate management reports or for printing customer bills.
PhonRead
Because it uses no batteries, PhonRead call-inbound technology eliminates battery replacement and associated maintenance problems. PhonRead AMR does not require special telephone company agreements or use special switching equipment at telephone company facilities. The customer meters are programmed to call-in to the utility office and automatically transfer their reading data to a PC. The utility can also make on demand readings if needed.
