Sensus AMR / AMI Systems
All Sensus advanced AMR / AMI systems utilize the same electronic encoder registers and have user-friendly operating software to provide enhanced features and flexibility. Water utilities can easily mix and match these systems to best meet their needs, or migrate from one type to another – all from a single source AMI platform.
TouchRead® System — Remotely reads inside set meters and meters in underground pits or vaults using a handheld meter reading device and reading gun. Each error-free meter reading takes less than two seconds.
RadioRead™ — Reads RadioRead equipped meters with either a hand-held unit or portable Vehicle Transceiver Unit (VXU) that can be used in any car or truck.
PhonRead™ — A stand alone telephone based call-in system that is battery free. PhonRead does not require special equipment at the telephone company.
AutoRead™ — User friendly Sensus AutoRead System software lets water utilities manage all Sensus encoder register based AMR systems.
FlexNet — The latest Sensus fixed network system, provides utilities with a reliable, powerful, and scaleable fixed base AMR system. The FlexNet system operates using a FCC licensed exclusive-use spectrum.
